On 9 May 2016, financial close was reached on the SH 288 P3 project, a highway in Texas, USA. This was a complex project including funding from TIFIA, Private Activity Bonds and a 50-strong investor group.
The project itself involved the construction of tolled lanes, connectors and the maintenance of general purpose lanes and associated facilities. This is the last of a series of transportation P3s in Texas.
Our team in New York acted as model auditor on this project and is delighted to now be the leading model auditor in the burgeoning North American market; this being the fifth US transport project it has closed in the last 12 months alone.
