How can public understanding and tax transparency shape policy and the role of a trusted advisor? The discussion papers that will be used to explore these issues at an exclusive debate in Westminster next Tuesday, 8th of July are now available below.
Hosted by Mazars and ARC, the union of choice for senior managers and professionals in HMRC, the event will be chaired and hosted by the Rt Hon Margaret Hodge MBE MP, Chair, Public Accounts Committee.
The discussion will address the impact of the current tax avoidance debate for tax advisers and their clients, including the concept of a Trusted Tax Adviser Charter and will set out how the UK can build better public understanding on tax. Together we will focus on the role of greater transparency in helping to improve policy making and tax compliance.
