The Irish Schools Bundle 5 PPP reached financial close last Thursday (22 July 2016). The project consists of five new schools in counties Carlow, Meath, Wexford and Wicklow in the Republic of Ireland (four post-primary schools and one primary school). It is set to provide nearly 5,000 new school places with construction.

The consortium (InspiredSpaces) consists of DIF Infrastructure III and Carillion, with the debt provided by BTMU and Helaba.

This is the fifth and final Schools Bundle under the Infrastructure Stimulus Programme introduced by the Government in 2012 which in total provides 28 schools and almost 20,000 student places.
